Tuscan Apple Pie/Torta di Mele Montagliari

This recipe was directly from Judy's web site : I baked two Torta's and I am so glad that I did, because it was gone within 24 hours. It was delicious!

My favorite way to serve this is to reheat it and then top with vanilla ice cream and a drizzle of traditional balsamic vinegar!
